|20||A fantastic chorus of Channel-billed Cuckoos at Allen Road but given the dim light of pre-dawn it was impossible to judge whether it was one bird continuously shifting position or a small troupe calling more or ;less simultaneously from different, nearby, locations. Other reports from here of Shining Bronze-Cuckoo, Little & Noisy Friarbird, Plumed Whistling-Duck, Sacred Kingfisher, Olive-backed Oriole, Pacific Koel and Brush Cuckoo. Report of 20+ Fairy Martin over Barkers Creek Flats. From Gordonbrook Dam reports of 7 Black-winged Stilts, Channel-billed Cuckoo, 3 Common Mynas, 7 Royal Spoonbills, Whistling Kite, 2 Little Friarbird, 20+ Grey Teal, 4 Pink-eared Duck, 1 Crested Tern, Tawny Grassbird, 1 White-breasted Woodswallow and 1 Red-kneed Dotterel. 1 Sacred Kingfisher and a male Superb Fairy-wren reported from Mehans Road. 20+ Zebra Finch and 3 Plum-headed Finch sighted on fence along Gordonbrook Road. 1 Nankeen Kestrel and 1 Oriental Dollarbird noted on overhead wires along the Bunya Highway, north of Kingaroy.|
