22 Early morning report from Allen Road of both male and female Pacific Koel calling, Olive-backed Oriole and Sacred Kingfisher. Late in day, Shining Bronze-Cuckoo [Fay & Julian Bielewicz].  From Mt Marbletop reports of  Olive-backed Oriole, Pacific Koel, White-throated Treecreeper, Scarlet Myzomela, Brown Cuckoo-Dove, Rufous Fantail, c.25 White-throated Needletail, Black-faced Monarch, Brush Cuckoo and Noisy Friarbird [Hans & Judy Beste together with Fay & Julian Bielewicz].  From the same observers reports from Calvert Lane of Noisy Friarbird, Leaden Flycatcher, Brush Cuckoo and Olive-backed Oriole.  Again, from the same quartet of observers reports from the South Burnett [en route to Mt Marbletop] of Oriental Dollarbird, Little Friarbird, Noisy Friarbird, Sacred Kingfisher, Rainbow Bee-eater, Leaden Flycatcher, Golden-headed Cisticola and Spotless Crake.  From the Nanango Fauna Sanctuary the same observers report Sacred Kingfisher [in termite nest], Olive-backed Oriole, Channel-billed Cuckoo, Brush Cuckoo and a pair of Oriental Dollarbird.
21 Pre-dawn tally from Allen Road includes: male Pacific Koel, Shining Bronze Cuckoo, Sacred Kingfisher, Pheasant Coucal, Noisy Friarbird, White-browed Scrubwren, Olive-backed Oriole and Oriental Dollarbird.  Later, from Allen Road, Little Friarbird, the locally uncommon Spotted Dove and a Collared Sparrowhawk circling to west of house.
20 Early morning report of male Pacific Koel from Allen Road.  From the Cooling Water Dam in the Tarong Power Station Complex, Fay & Julian Bielewicz report: 4 Great Crested Grebe; Olive-backed Oriole; Fan-tailed Cuckoo; Australian Reed Warbler; 1 male Musk Duck; male Pacific Koel calling; 2 Fairy Martin, 2 Black Swan and 3 Caspian Tern.  From Meandu Creek Dam [Tarong Power Station complex] the same observers reports: Leaden Flycatcher; cracking views of 2 Olive-backed Oriole; male Common Cicadabird and the contact call could have been a responding female; Australian Reed Warbler; 6 Black Swan; 1 White-bellied Sea-eagle; 20+ Great Crested Grebe; male Pacific Koel calling; Brush Cuckoo and 2 Chestnut-breasted Mannikin.

18 Fay & Julian Bielewicz report from Allen Road: Pacific Koel, Oriental Dollarbird, Noisy Friarbird, Sacred Kingfisher and 33 Straw-necked Ibis in paddock near Andrews Road junction.  From Yarraman State Forest [Stables Camp area] Hans & Judy Bester, along with Fay & Julian Bielewicz, report Brown Gerygone pair nest building, Leaden Flycatcher,Brown Cuckoo Dove, Wonga Pigeon, Shining Bronze Cuckoo, Paradise Riflebird, Noisy Pitta, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Large-billed Scrubwren, Brush Cuckoo, Olive-backed Oriole, Rainbow Bee-eater and Green Catbird. Denis & Jenette McBryde report immature Red-winged Parrot from their Allen Road property.

12 Pacific Koel and Olive-backed Oriole reported from Allen Road.  Bell Miner at Benarkin.  Brown Cuckoo-Dove, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, Rufous Fantail, Wonga Pigeon, Paradise Riflebird, 2 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo, Shining Bronze-Cuckoo, Regent's Bowerbird`, Noisy Pitta and Channel-billed Cuckoo at Benarkin State Forest, Spangled Drongo and [in broad daylight] Australian Owlet-nightjar calling. Bell Miner, Rufous Fantail, Wonga Pigeon, Rainbow Bee-eater, Spangled Drongo and Little Lorikeet at the top of the Blackbutt Ranges.

6 Pacific Koel and Olive-backed Oriole calling along Allen Road early this morning.  Sacred Kingfisher pair noted perched on overhead wires running along Allen Road.  Nankeen Kestrel, Wonga Pigeon and Oriental Dollarbird reported from along road to Cooyar.

1 Olive-backed Oriole and Pacific Koel calling well along Allen Road.  Fay & Julian Bielewicz report White-necked Heron on the small farm dam at the D'Aguilar Highway end of Berlin Road.  The Wednesday Birding Club [sic on a Sunday?] report Olive-backed Oriole, Bell Miner, Leaden Flycatcher, Oriental Dollarbird, Sacred Kingfisher, White-throated Treecreeper, Spotted Pardalote, Eastern Yellow Robin, Common Cicadabird, Rainbow Bee-eater, Superb Fairywren, Shining Bronze-Cuckoo and Yellow Thornbill on the Benarkin to Blackbutt section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
